17 inch LCD monitor for less than $100Tuesday, October 24, 2006 I was going through the thousands of junk mails that all the TV and tech industry people seem to think I want, since I run TV and tech industry blogs, and happened to come across this deal I thought was worth sharing with Hot TV News readers ...
Until November 25th, you can get a Hanns-G HU-171D 17" Digital/Analog LCD Monitor for $99.99 at Office Depot. The in-store and online price is $179.99, but there is an $80.00 mail-in rebate that brings the price of this monitor under $100. An amazing price for any LCD monitor, and in time for a Christmas gift for that loved one with the old 15-inch VGA monitor!! Now before leading my readers astray, I did do my homework, and the Hanns G HU-171D seemed to get some very decent customer reviews. The general opinion is that it is a very well-built monitor for the price paid, and that most buyers would buy again or recommend this LCD monitor to friends. The Hanns-G HU-171D 17-inch LCD monitor comes in a black cabinet finish, and has the following features: Dual digital and analog inputs, and built-in speakers I am currently building a Ubuntu Linux PC for my mother (Linux = no spyware or viruses), so I think I am going to grab her this LCD monitor. The built-in speakers are a real plus, as she lives in a fairly small apartment, and like those of many older folk, is quite cluttered with various knick knacks and articles she has had opportune to collect in the past couple centuries. LOL! No, in all seriousness, I love my mother, and I hope with her new Hanns-G HU-171D 17-inch LCD monitor she will love me even more! Happy Shopping! Powered by dBLOGGER |
